Q & A

What do I wear for a massage?

When you go for a massage you are encouraged to undress to your comfort level. Some people prefer to go nude, while others leave their undergarments on. Women will usually remove their bra so it is not in the way of their back and shoulders being massaged. Clients are always properly covered by sheets and/or blankets.

What is the difference between Therapeutic Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Sports Massage?

Therapeutic Massage is a lighter pressure massage.

Deep Tissue Massage has a slower and deeper pressure.

Sports Massage is more vigorous and stimulating.

Is the pressure of your massage too much? Not enough?

The communication between you and your therapist is key. You will not offend your therapist if you ask them to use more pressure or less pressure. The massage is for you and what makes YOU feel better, so always feel free to communicate with your therapist.
